What Is Prose Fiction?

Prose fiction includes novels, novellas, short stories, flash fiction, and graphic novels — imaginative narratives written in ordinary language rather than verse. In Stage 6 English, students analyse how authors craft meaning through narrative techniques and respond critically to fictional worlds.
